And they plan to share that with others by becoming marketing executives for Melaleuca.
Melaleuca is a brand that offers environmentally friendly and organic products including skin care, hair care, make up, cleaning solutions, vitamins and weight maintenance.
Lillian Slattery Aitken, Rachael McDonnell and Lauren Wittingslow found the company was a perfect fit for them as it allowed them to earn a living while staying at home.
“I have to deal with food allergies, skin allergies and I’m an asthmatic,” Mrs Slattery Aitkan said.
“All the products we endorse are non-toxic and I am no longer having breathing problems.
“People are starting to take an interest in the environment and want the opportunity to detox their family.”
The women set up shopping accounts for people who want to purchase products.
“They are then delivered straight to their door,” Mrs McDonnell said.
Anyone interested in the Melaleuca range has to join as a member and buy something every month but Mrs Slattery Aitkan said it was convenient and efficient.
“And the products are kinder on the environment and we don’t have to worry about our kids being around it,” she said.
The women will be having a launch day on April 13 at 2pm to give people the opportunity to try the products.
