The gathering — tomorrow week — has been organised by the member for Indi Cathy McGowan with AusIndustry, a government body that fosters business.
AusIndustry, Pacific Hydro, Clean Energy Finance Corporation and Commonwealth Bank representatives will address the forum at Wangaratta Council chambers from noon.
Ms McGowan said Indi businesses could improve their performance using such forums.
“Government needs to ensure business has the latest research and development information,” she said.
AusIndustry southwest NSW manager Gilli Williams and North East Victoria manager, Neil Hamilton, will spell out how their organisation could help.
The topics include research and development tax incentives, the enterprise connect program, the tradex scheme, enhanced project by-law scheme that looks at tariffs and small business support will be discussed.
For more information or to book, phone Ms McGowan’s office (03) 5721 7077 or email cathy.mcgowan.mp@aph.gov.au.
