Missing elderly man found asleep in someone else's room
An elderly man staying at a Beechworth motel was reported missing to police early yesterday but was later found asleep in a wrong room.

The man, 71, believed to have dementia, was last seen by his family at the Armour Motor Inn at 10.30pm on Thursday.
Police said he had got up during the night for an unknown reason and wandered around the motel.
He had eventually gone back to bed but in the wrong room.
His family reported him missing about 5.30am.
Police found the man safe and sound, and still sleeping about 7am.
