The Vics took the series with a 4.5 to 3.5 win over NSW, with Murray finishing the week with three wins, two halves and a loss.
Murray played in the junior boys interstate series title win last month.
Golf Victoria high performance manager John Anderson said it was an outstanding result.
“It’s never easy being one of the favourites but the guys were very focused on their goal this week,” Anderson said.
“NSW provided a big challenge in the final but full credit to our team that handled the pressure thrown at them.
“It was a superb win by the team, which was truly deserved.”
