Wine lovers will be asked to guess how many wine bottles are inside a historic vat inside the cellar door at John Gehrig Wines.
Ross Gehrig, a fifth generation vigneron, and his wife, Meghan, have not made the game easy.
“We put children’s toys, a bike and other items inside to distract the eye,” Mrs Gehrig said.
“Some of the bottles are standing up, others are lying down — it’s all part of the intrigue.”
The second challenge will be to guess how many vine guard sleeves are in a fermenter at the winery on Gooramadda Road, east of Rutherglen.
The walkabout, involving 19 wineries, is the North East’s biggest tourist event and attracts about 20,000 people.
There’s also food and music as well as the grape crush, barrel race and the farmers’ market.
