Ditto in a Box has been created by the Bravehearts organisation headed by child protection campaigner Hetty Johnston.
Children’s character Ditto the Lion has been spreading a safety message and the kit allows his efforts to go out to schools across NSW with activity books part of the kit that will be used by teachers.
Member for Albury Greg Aplin handed over the box to Glenroy principal John Dent yesterday.
“The resource has been developed by Bravehearts’ team of psychologists, counsellors, teachers, criminologist and researchers along with a large working group of professionals,” Mr Aplin said.
“It is a commendable project and anything that keeps our children safe is a benefit to the whole community.”
