The sink hole has been filled with what looks like concrete and blue metal.
A WRONGLY aligned sewer pipe is believed to be the cause of a sinkhole that appeared in Gehrig Lane, Albury, this week.

The lane — from Macauley to Young streets, between Swift and Wilson streets — re-opened yesterday.
A council spokeswoman said the hole had been filled and made safe until it could be further examined next week.
“Crews will vacuum out the site and if a misalignment is confirmed, they will repair the main, back-fill the hole and repair the road,” she said.
Delivery driver Mick Humphrey spotted the hole on Wednesday and reported it.
