The All-Australian under-18 defender, who has been outstanding in the TAC Cup and national championships, will undergo surgery next week in a bid to be fit for pre-season training later this year.
Captain Nick Mellington and Tom Holman will miss tomorrow’s clash against Tasmania with hamstring injuries, while Brody Webster has been suspended.

Coach Darren Ogier is confident of a good result against Tasmania after last weekend’s morale-boosting win against the Western Jets.
“I watched the Tasmanian squad play at Windy Hill a few weeks back and they have some good players we will need to keep a close eye on,” Ogier said.
“We have done our homework and feel that we can match up on them across the ground and hopefully get an advantage in the air with Isaac Muller and forwards Josh Schache and Dion Metzner.
“It’s disappointing to lose experienced players through injury, but we feel that we have the depth in the list to perform well and hopefully be in the eight at the end of the round.”
