Only a week after defeating Shepparton by 112 points, the Saints followed up with a 102-point demolition, with coach Luke Morgan doing his Morrison Medal hopes no harm by turning in a best afield performance.
Morgan dominated around the packs, with support coming from Lachie Smith who was outstanding at centre half-back with 15 marks.
Will and James Martiniello, Nick Warnock and Josh Mellington also ran riot as Benalla kicked 10 goals to one after half-time.
“Mansfield is a little off the pace and tried as hard as they could but I thought our efficiency was good,” Morgan said.
Benalla takes on a struggling Euroa and Seymour in the final two rounds of the home and away season.
Shepparton United and Shepparton Swans played a thrilling draw.
After making a slow start, seventh-placed United worked its way back into the match with the evergreen Tim Looby playing a starring role with six majors.
Rochester edged out Tatura, Mooroopna defeated Shepparton and Seymour accounted for Euroa.
