It has either won or been runner-up in every Riverina District event.
The club’s two pennant teams have qualified to represent the region in the state play-offs.
Its Commercial Gold team in grade 2 went through the season undefeated and plays at Fingal Bay from August 25 to 29.
The team members during the season were Mary James, Carolyne Coster, Faye McDonnell and Pam Beckwith (skip), Fortune Warren, Roma Newman, Marion Bruce and Ann Harvey (skip).
James is unavailable for the state play-offs through injury and will fill the role of team manager.
Her place in the team has been taken by Audrey Trethowan.
The nine regional winners play a round-robin series with finals at the Soldiers Point club on August 29.
The Commercial Blue team from grade four will play in the state titles at Raymond Terrace from August 26 to 29.
Its team members are Mary Hemphill, Chris Barnes, Joan Cruickshank, Sue Thurley (skip), Sandra Salomon, Fay White, Jean Lieschke and Maeve Ryan (skip), with Kath Baggeridge being the team manager.
The 16 regional winners play a round robin series with the finals to be held at Soldiers Point on August 29.
Commercial’s team of Hemphill, Kath Baggeridge, McDonnell and skip Hazel Sims won the Riverina District over-60 fours.
They defeated a team from Gundagai to qualify for the state finals at Tuncurry on October 25 and 26.
Sims is unavailable so Carolyne Coster comes into the team as third and McDonnell takes over the skipping role.
