Martin John McDonough, 39, had previously appeared in Albury Local Court last week on 38 charges including manufacturing a prohibited weapon, possessing an unauthorised firearm and possessing unregistered firearms.
The case was adjourned by magistrate Tony Murray to get an updated interstate criminal history for McDonough.
Solicitor Andrea MacDonald sought an adjournment for two weeks so an application could be made for bail.
Mr Murray ordered the preparation of a police brief of evidence by October 22 and adjourned the charges until September 15.
Police prosecutor Sgt Rowan Harris said the Director of Public Prosecutions Wagga office would take over the matter.
