Maksymow, 22, appeared in Albury Local Court through a video link from Junee jail.
The guilty pleas were entered on his behalf by solicitor Mark Cronin to recently laid charges by police of affray and assault.
Four other charges of reckless grievous bodily harm in company, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company were withdrawn by police.
Magistrate Tony Murray has ordered a pre-sentence report and Maksymow remains in custody with charges from other incidents still pending.
The court was told in police documents that Maksymow and another man were playing touch football on different teams at Jelbart Park on October 6 last year.
There had been on-going conflict between them for some time relating to Maksymow’s partner.
The other man made some inflammatory remarks about her during the game.
He was walking to his car about 8.30pm when Maksymow approached and said: “Let’s finish this now”.
The other man responded by saying: “You have no reason to fight me”.
Maksymow punched the other man once to the face and they both left.
Two days later the victim and three friends were at a 20th birthday party at the New Albury Hotel.
They went downstairs about 9pm to the beer garden and saw Maksymow with Kristopher Crowther and a juvenile.
The four men left and went back to a residence at Thurgoona where they found Crowther’s Nissan Pulsar parked in the driveway with the doors open and the headlights on.
They went looking for the occupants of the car after arming themselves with things like plastic pipes.
Someone hit the bonnet of the car making a large hole in it and the keys were taken from the ignition.
A short time later there was a confrontation between the four men and Maksymow, Crowther, the juvenile and two other people.
The juvenile hit one of the men with a punch to the right ear and another man was assaulted by Maksymow.
A loud argument began before the car keys were given back and Crowther drove away with the others.
