The very first Christmas story found in Luke 2:1-20 is timeless and never needs anything added or subtracted.

Its message is as relevant today as it was when first proclaimed by the angel more than 2000 years ago, especially Luke chapter 2 verses 10 and 11, which I’ll quote at the end of my message.
I’m aware that many reading my words have had a tough year.
Some have received some bad news that has led to some very dark and lonely days, despairing days, days full of doubts, fears and deep struggles within.
This is the reason why the angel came from heaven to declare some very good news to you and our world.
No matter what season you may find yourself in, no matter how hard the struggle to keep your head above water, no matter the battle or fear, the angel of God declares hope in Luke 2:10-11 saying:
Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy, which will be to ALL people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ Jesus the Lord.
Love, peace and Merry Christmas.
