Hazelman was one of the surprise packets of the 18 and under boys division over the weekend and will need to produce his best form to bring down Doyle Springett in the final four.
In the other semi-final, James McKee takes on unseeded Adam Dickie.
No.1 seed Troy Smith withdrew from the competition before the first round after injuring his hip during the final of the Margaret Court Cup.
Talented Papua New Guinea star Abigail Tere-Apisah will take on unseeded Olivia Stannard in the 18 and under girls final.
In the 16 and under boys, No.1 seed Adam Taylor plays Ethan Tulliana and Ji-Hoon Heo does battle with Ethan Croker.
Bianca Tepper meets Michelle Burdon in the 16 and under girls semi-finals, while Azra Hadzic confronts Cassie Gramlick.
More than 150 players entered the championships which were officially opened by grand slam champion Margaret Court on Saturday morning.
Wodonga Tennis Centre president David Sheather said he expected some outstanding semi-final action.
“A lot of the seeds have made it through plus a few unseeded players,” Sheather said.
“It’s the first continuous tournament to be held in the country and is a good lead-up to the Australian Open after junior events at Shepparton and Albury.”
