Sussyer’s Kelly Tigers were never behind in the 29.25 (199) 3.3 (21) drubbing.
The forward’s effort, only slightly tarnished by one behind, beat Mark Sayers’ 13-goal total, which was achieved in round eight of the 2002 season against Greta.
The Kelly Tigers haven’t shined away from putting up big scorelines in the Ovens and King League in recent years but Sussyer’s personal haul was his biggest since 2014 when he got seven in a game against Goorambat.
Sussyer kicked 15 goals all up in 2014 and has equalled the total with the weekend’s game.
The forward had seven goals all up in 2015 and five in both 2012 and 2013.
Saturday’s win bucked a two-game losing streak for the Kelly Tigers who didn’t drop a match last season.
Glenrowan face Goorambat next on Saturday.
