Inspired by the Olympics, they took part in a series of activities against their friendly competitors from Lutheran Aged Care Dellacourt.
The room became packed with people wearing face paint and holding balloons for the inaugural Mercy-Lutheran games. It is hoped the activity day will become an annual event.
Mercy Place Albury lifestyle co-ordinator Michelle Phillips said everyone had been excited in the lead-up.
“It's been a great day, we wanted to get everyone involved,” she said.
“They have played pool, box bowls and had a paper aeroplane throwing competition.”
