The brigade held a social night on the anniversary on March 16, but will formally recognise the occasion with a dinner at Wangaratta Turf Club.
The very first meeting to form the brigade was held at Council Club Hotel in 1876.
Stations in Ford and Ely streets have been home to firefighters over the years before they moved to Handley Street in 2012.
