Ashley Bates led the way with a 30-16 win over Sharon Warfe.
Peter McLarty accounted for Bruno Meneguzzi 24-20 and Mark Coulston defeated Tony Williams 27-18.
Former Victorian player Matt Robertson kept Benalla in touch by upstaging Paul Davies 28-19.
Bates said the match was closer than the final score indicated.
“It was tight all the way,” Bates said.
“I thought it was a high standard game.”
Myrtleford sprung a surprise by playing an 88-all draw against Corowa Civic.
YMGCR defeated Wangaratta 97-79 and Yarrawonga disposed of Rutherglen 97-76.
