The former Powderfinger frontman will join fellow ARIA winning singer songwriter Chambers for a 10-show Sooner or Later regional tour.
“Bernard and I have collaborated musically on and off over the past 10 years and after being asked the question about a double tour for a long time I'm so happy to say it's finally here!,” Chambers said.
“This is not just two artists being thrown together to tour but two friends who have a musical history to share, together and separately, through a night of different styles meeting in the middle.”
The pair have regularly shared stages and featured on each other’s records.
Fanning co-wrote and played guitar and added vocals to Golden Guitar Award winning single Bittersweet, the title track from Chambers’ 2014 LP.
Chambers provided vocals for Sooner or Later from Fanning’s recently released album Civil Dusk.
Fanning is due to release Brutal Dawn in 2017 while Chambers has been collaborating with Australian music legend Paul Kelly in the producer’s chair for one session, and Nash Chambers producing the other for a new double album due for release January 20.
