The trial was used on the planning and development and engineering and works committees chaired by Cr Alice Glachan and Cr Henk van de Ven respectively.
Footage obtained from a single camera on the night won't be made public.
But it's understood director Michael Keys and chief financial officer Justin Finlayson, who occupy opposite ends of the council table, were cut out of shot.
Deputy mayor Amanda Cohn, who pushed for web streaming to be introduced, said there were some “technical tweaks” to eliminate before going live.
“We have the technology and policy framework in place to make it happen,” she said.
“I'm so proud to see council using 21st century technology to engage with our community, and I look forward to hearing feedback from residents.”
