Police investigating after victim mugged while on morning walk in Albury for coffee

Police are looking for a man armed with a hunting knife who mugged another man in Albury on Friday morning. The 24-year-old was walking down Stanley Street to buy cigarettes and coffee when he was confronted. The man was described as Aboriginal, mid to late 20s, 175-180cm tall, thin build, dark hair, and wearing a black Fox-branded hoodie and dark blue jeans. The offender ran after the victim handed over his wallet. Anyone with information can contact Albury detectives on (02) 6023 9324.
