Managing director Deb North said their final day of operation for the 2016-2017 period was emotional.
“It’s been an incredible journey and one we’re incredibly proud of,” she said.
"Opening the water park was about having a go … what we ended up doing was create a regional draw-card.
“Some business have measured a 50 per cent increase in their trade on this time last year.”
The park opened in November and has drawn 4000 people daily to the Yarrawonga foreshore in peak times.
Ms North said her team would work on promoting the attraction between now and the 2017-2018 season opening, starting sometime in November.
“We’re a developing business – school groups want to book it out, corporate companies want to do bonding and someone from America wants to come hold a function,” she said.
“I want to thank everyone who believed in us.”
