Humane Society International (HSI) Australia is offering a $5000 reward for any information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of people responsible for the killings in Albury Botanic Gardens in recent weeks.
HSI senior program manager Evan Quartermain said information had been received since the announcement of the reward on Wednesday but it had not yet advanced investigations.
“We are optimistic of finding those responsible for the attacks on one of our beloved Australian icons,” he said.
Anyone with information can phone Crime Stoppers at Albury Police on (02) 6023 9299.
