Two former Ovens and Murray stars are set to return to the region on Saturday for Werribee’s VFL clash with Collingwood at Wangaratta’s Norm Minns Oval.
Albury premiership player Matt Munro, Myrtleford export Jake Sharp and Wangaratta’s Jade Cleeland are expected to lineup for the Tigers after playing in last weekend’s victory against the Casey Demons.
Werribee, North Melbourne’s affiliate club, has started with two wins and two losses, while Collingwood have just one victory from their first four games.
North Albury’s Dom Brew, as well as former Lavington players Brydon Hodgson and Nick Meredith are all on the Werribee list and played in the AFL Victoria Development League last weekend.
Mitta United’s Aiden Adams and former Wodonga player Nathan Laracy are also Werribee-listed players.
The match kicks off at 2.10pm, with the Murray Bushrangers to play a curtain raiser against the Sandringham Dragons at 11.45am.
