Fresh from a four-goal haul against St Pats last weekend, the Diamonds’ defence can’t afford to allow her any open space.
“Alicia had a really good game and every time we put the ball through to her she put it in the back of the net,” United’s Mel Crorken said.
“Hopefully she can bring that into this week.”
However, Crorken said some of the younger players in the seniors have been sore, due to representative duties and backing up for multiple games each Sunday.
Wodonga Diamonds’ dynamo Blair Rankin admitted her side will be banking on strong games from their young stars.
“We’ve got quite a few injuries within the senior squad, which has resulted in a lot of ressie players having to play up, especially this weekend, we’re going to be calling on a few,” Rankin said.
