Pye copped a knock during last weekend’s loss at home to Springvale White Eagles, with the club to make a decision on Saturday as to whether or not he will start.
The utility has played a number of roles throughout the season for United and will be a big loss if deemed unfit.
One thing in Pye’s favour is the fact the club will play its first Sunday game of the campaign, but coach James Coutts knows with a small squad at his disposal, he can ill afford a setback.
Regular left back Nick Teichmann is also unavailable, which could open the door for Munya Ruparanganda who came off the bench last weekend.
