Former Carlton premiership player Glenn Manton was a surprise inclusion after being in town for a comedy night.
He kicked one goal before injuring his calf late in the first term but stayed on the ground until the third quarter.
“Glenn was fantastic for the group,” coach Gerard Midson said.
“He invested a lot of time into the players .
