Sid Duncan-Steele’s dual cab Holden Rodeo was stolen from Parnall Street in Lavington on Thursday night or Friday morning.
The vehicle was packed with tools, cash for upcoming mechanical work and fishing gear worth thousands.
The car was last seen at the Coles Express service station in Euroa about 5am on Friday.
A man in a grey hoodie was captured on CCTV footage stealing 32 litres of fuel before driving off.
The theft was discovered the same day Mr Duncan-Steele was due to fly overseas for a month for university.
“It’s everything I’ve worked for,” he said of the vehicle.
“It will mess things up when I get back from overseas.”
