The 1996 125cc and 1998 250cc World Champion is currently in Australia with his motocross coaching school, Champ Factory, hosting a total of six days of coaching throughout Victoria.
Tortelli spent Thursday and Friday at the Alpine Motorcycle Club in Myrtleford.
His final two days of the tour in Wodonga will see two groups of ten local riders taking part in an extensive day of coaching.
Tortelli likes to keep the groups smaller, allowing for a more personalised and exclusive experience for the riders.
The same event was planned for 2016 at the club, however, the floods rendered the complex inaccessible and the event was cancelled.
With a little rain forecast, this year’s event is set to be an experience the riders will not forget anytime soon.
Event organiser and local motocross star Mitch Drummond is excited to see the event run at both his local clubs.
“To be able to bring a rider of this calibre to the Alpine and Albury Wodonga Motorcycles Clubs is something both clubs can be very proud of,” Drummond said.
