Diamonds drew level at 2-2 after conceding the first two goals of the game with a double to Jovana Bukvic, but St Pats had all the answers to come away with the points.
Claire Mahoney continued her stellar season for St Pats with another two goals – the victory allowing the side to draw level with Wangaratta on 27 points.
Albury City continued on its merry way with a 6-2 win against Albury United.
Boomers received a scare at Wangaratta, but held on for a 4-2 triumph.
Albury Hotspurs moved three points clear in eighth with a 2-0 victory over Myrtleford, while Melrose was held to a 2-2 draw at Cobram.
