Terrell landed 35 points, including five three-pointers, in Friday night’s win over the Ballarat Miners.
It pushed the border outfit back into the East Conference top four with only four games left.
The Bandits sit equal with Sandringham at nine-11.
The home exploded against the Miners with Terrell grabbing four points and four rebounds.
The visitors then threatened to pull away in the second quarter, but the import still managed 15 points.
Terrell drilled two long-range efforts in the third stanza, amassing 10 points, while a lay-up on the buzzer trimmed the deficit to six.
The Bandits needed a big effort in the fourth quarter and they delivered with 36 points, Terrell again playing a key role.
And he will need too again.
The Bandits’ season will be on the line against top teams Mount Gambier and Nunawading this weekend.
