The 4.2 per cent funding increase forms part of further budget allocations being announced today by Health Minister Jill Hennessy.
“This record boost means better hospitals and efficient care that is first class and accessible,” she said.
Victorian hospitals will receive $10.6 billion, 6.7 per cent more than in 2016.
