Hodgson was selected on a half-back flank in a line-up including some of the Hoppers’ biggest names of the modern era in Brett Kirk, Mark Hilton, Dan Leslie, Jason Kerr, Corey Lambert and Simon McCormick.
Ernest Whitehead was coach of the side when it was announced during North Albury’s 80-year reunion last weekend.
“It was a huge honour,” Hodgson said.
“I was lucky enough to play with some great players at North and it was fantastic to catch up with them.”
Hodgson coached Bacchus Marsh to a premiership in the Ballarat league last season and recently had his contract extended.
