The ADRA Op Shop on David Street, part of the Albury Seventh-day Adventist Church complex, had been closed all year because a new manager took time to find.
Congregation member Maryann Nixon accepted the voluntary role, with the shop to open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 3pm.
Mrs Nixon thanked the volunteers who helped the 20 year-old shop reopen and said they could again receive donations of goods.
Some existing items had been given away to other services during the recess. The shop aimed to offer value and quality.
“And also if people want a chat and just need a friendly smile, that we can maybe brighten someone’s day as well,” Mrs Nixon said.
