The stolen Holden Commodore was found alight on Harris Road about 4.15am on Wednesday.
Police believe the vehicle may have been stolen in Albury earlier in the night.
Detective Sergeant Graeme Simpfendorfer said police were also investigating if the matter was linked to a break-in at the Wodonga Bowling Club about 2.30am.
“It’s unclear if these two are linked at this point,” he said.
“The burglary happened about 2.30am this morning, when an alarm was activated by the offenders.
“We don’t believe they spent very long at all inside the premises.”
The burglars fled when an alarm sounded and left empty handed.
“We’re taking all the steps that we can to work out who’s behind this,” Detective Sergeant Simpfendorfer said.
