The Panthers hammered Albury, 59-35, just a week after the Tigers posted one of their best wins in years with an upset against premiers, Yarrawonga.
As they have so often, the Panthers had three players in double figures in Sarah Senini (25), Skye Hiller (21) and Alison Meani (13).
It makes the ladder leaders extremely difficult to shut down and that’s apart from a strong mid-court, along with the super defence, led by representative players Sarah Meredith and Kate Yensch.
Albury’s Claire Wilson scored 19 goals, with Gabe McRae and Brigetta Hart the pick of the visitors.
North Albury edged out fellow finals contenders, Wangaratta, 45-43.
Grace Senior grabbed 36 goals, while Sara-Jane Farrell was superb.
Wangaratta’s Katie Dean and Issy Byrne were the Pies’ strongest.
Wangaratta Rovers defeated Myrtleford, 62-28, while Corowa-Rutherglen toppled Wodonga, 59-36.
