Luke Packer injured his hamstring, while Daniel Cross was forced from the field at the 17-minute mark of the second quarter with a calf complaint.
“I just went to take off and kick the ball inside to Deano (Dean Polo) and just felt my calf tighten up,” Cross said.
“I’ve never torn a muscle in my whole career, so hopefully it’s nothing too serious.
“The good thing is, with my position at work, I’ve got plenty of good physio and docs around me, so I’ll do everything I can to make sure I’m right for Saturday week.”
Cross works for AFL club Melbourne and had organised a scan less than 15 minutes after the game.

- Daniel Cross
He had the scan on Sunday and expects results back on Monday.
Ironically, his place in the O and M finals was uncertain when the Demons looked likely to play finals, but they bombed out in the final round.
Cross hasn’t played in a losing Tigers’ team since returning to his home club after a superb AFL career.
He was outstanding in the second quarter.
Packer had ice strapped to his hamstring at three-quarter time.
“I get spasms in there from time to time, it’s an injury I’ve had for five years, on and off,’ he said.
“It came on today (Saturday), just when I get fatigued, so we’ll see how it goes with a bit of rest and get a scan on it.”
Packer has developed a reputation as one of the club’s most consistent players.
