The man won a division one prize of $695,626.88 as well as division three six times to take his total to $700,384.88.
A regular player who wished to remain anonymous, he bought his ticket from Wodonga Tatts and Greetings, becoming the store’s 48th division one winner.
“It feels bloody good to tell you the truth,” he said.
“I’ve been playing a long time.
“I picked those numbers nearly 35 years ago and I’ve been playing them ever since.
“I won division three a few years ago, but nothing like this.”
He planned to share his prize with family.
“I’ve got a couple of nieces and a couple of cousins and I think I might share it with them,” he said.
“I think I’ll head to the pub for a beer to celebrate and think it through.”
