Vehicles were targeted on Wiltshire and Beard crescents on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Police had five reports of items being stolen from inside cars and believe other thefts may have gone unreported.
Loose change was mainly targeted.
Sergeant Luke Fogarty said it was another warning for people to secure their cars.
"We're urging people to lock their vehicles,” he said.
