Since starting out with a humble field of 35 competitors in 2009, numbers have ballooned with organiser Nadia Mellor proud of the way the community has backed the event.
“It’s a wonderful day,” Mellor said.
“Women of all abilities take part and it’s just gone from strength to strength over the years which is fantastic.”
Money raised from this year’s 300m swim, 13km ride and 3km run will go to Upper Murray Family Care’s Kids in Trust program.
Many causes have been supported over the past nine years.
While many of the women will have their sights set on personal best times, others will simply be keen to finish.
Leading Albury-Wodonga sportswomen Julie Gollan-Foard and Taryn Heather have been among the winners in recent years.
The race starts at 8.30am.
