It’s the first time the North East Bushrangers have undertaken the development trip.
“We’re hoping to open the players to higher-level competition and to the professionalism across the US colleges and high schools,” Bushrangers’ official Wendy Jeffery said.
The two boys’ teams comprise players aged 15 to 18.

“Most of them have been part of our development squad for 12 months and they’ve been training on a weekly basis,” Jeffery said.
Development teams have been playing in the Wangaratta domestic competition for the last two years, with players from Albury, Wodonga, Wangaratta, Myrtleford, Yarrawonga and Benalla.
Jake Bowen, Sam Hawkins, Tommy Young and Sam Burrowes are among the talented youngsters on the tour.
The teams will be coached by mother and daughter combination Jacqui and Emma Henry.
Emma coaches the men’s outfit in the BigV, while Jacqui is the club’s coaching director.
