A DRIVER who allegedly rammed a police car at Benalla will front court later this month.

The 30-year-old handed himself into the Benalla Police Station on Sunday following the incident in Faithful Street the night before.
He has been charged with assaulting police, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, driving in a manner dangerous, careless driving and criminal damage.
Police had responded to a Faithful Street home following reports of a domestic violence-related incident.
The 30-year-old arrived at the home and argued with officers before getting back into the vehicle and allegedly crashing into the unoccupied divisional van.
He fled the scene.
There were no reported injuries.
The man was bailed to appear before the Benalla Magistrates Court on February 27.
