Australian representative Nic Adams will contest the Lake Moodemere Championships, which is an extreme slalom event.
Fifty competitors from four States and the ACT will contest the titles.
Adams is the Australian slalom record holder and when he’s not in Australia, he’s contesting the international circuit in the northern hemisphere.
But Adams will face strong competition from Bundalong’s Tom Ryan.
He’s the national under 21 champion and also spends his Australian winters north, coaching in the US.
And Ryan’s older sister Tara is the standout athlete in the women’s division.
Ryan is a former Australian under 21 slalom champion and has just moved to the open category, taking out the weekend’s round in Mulwala.
The titles are the ideal preparation for a host of events.
