The black Ford Ranger was torched in a bush area off Strauss Street about 5.20am on Wednesday.
The vehicle was worth about $50,000 to $55,000.
Firefighters were called to the scene but the vehicle, which had Victorian plates, was destroyed.
They spent about an hour on the scene.
The 2017 model car had been stolen from Murray Park in Thurgoona on Sunday night or Monday morning.
A trailer was also stolen but was found dumped nearby soon after the theft.
The owner had appealed for help to track down the vehicle.
Forensic officers examined the fire scene on Wednesday morning.
Footage shot by onlookers shows flames engulfing the utility and coming close to a nearby tree.
