Townsend Veterinary Clinic and YogaNess will offer “doga” for the first time in Albury on March 17.
YogaNess instructor Vanessa Ayres said the class aimed to help people achieve a greater connection with their dogs through yoga, meditation and gentle massage.
“Obviously dogs can’t do a Warrior II pose but there’s lots of things they can do,” she said.
“I’m very envious of my dog Aero’s downward dog!”
Ms Ayres said the class was beginner-friendly and dogs must be on leads.
“Just like people, the dogs will have varied personalities; come prepared to have fun!” she said.
Doga will run from 5pm on the oval opposite Townsend Veterinary Clinic.
Bookings: (02) 6046 9846.
People should bring a yoga mat or towel.
Tickets cost $20 with drinks and a catch-up afterwards.
