Expect delays: Hume slow southbound to Melbourne
EARLIER: A truck has rolled resulting in a large diesel spill on the Hume Freeway at Violet Town. At the time of writing, southbound lanes are still closed.
Traffic is being diverted via Murchison-Violet Town Rd and the Goulburn Valley Hwy. A crew is currently working to soak up the spill and at this stage the closure is expected to remain in place until at least 12pm.
Ambulance officers were not required at the scene.
