The July school holiday camp, held annually for more than 40 years at The Scots School Albury, accepts about 225 to 230 boarding and day students in total.
Normally the camp committee expected 60 to 80 enrolments by Easter.
Student administrator Margie Gleeson said the 45 places in the girls boarding house had already been filled while about 10 spaces remained in the boys house.
Sending out brochures, word of mouth and increased use of Facebook had contributed to enrolments.
“We’ve made an advertisement to go on at the movies for the next holidays and we’re going to get to the point where we’re not going to need it,” she said.
Although places were limited, Ms Gleeson said the camp still needed more clarinet and saxophone players.
