Judy Langridge, who was one of the women targeted by Xiawen Shen in Albury, felt a weight had been lifted after his appeal was dismissed on Wednesday.

Shen had been sentenced to at least three years in jail for a string of indecent assault charges, with a maximum term of five years.

Sydney District Court Judge Helen Syme dismissed the appeal, meaning Shen will be in jail until at least July 26, 2020.

Ms Langridge said it was the “perfect outcome”.

“It still makes my skin crawl to think he had the audacity to appeal an already quite lenient sentence,” she said.

“It was very fair, a very good sentence.

“It was really making my skin crawl.”

Ms Langridge said her main feeling was relief.

“It’s been quite a horrible ordeal and every time he’s been in court, it just prolongs the mental torment for myself and the other women. It’s a huge weight off my shoulders,” she said. 

Shen had mainly targeted the women at Royal Hands Chinese Massage in West End Plaza.

The offending involving groping and rubbing the women's breasts and genitals, thrusting his penis into them, and pinning a woman down, with some incidents of front of the victims’ children.

The incidents occurred over an 11-month period starting early 2016. 

“I'm going to move on with my life,” Ms Langridge said after the appeal was denied. 

She thanked the Albury police officers who worked on the case.
