A tough night at the office on Friday saw them fall 127-94 to the Mt Gambier Pioneers, before bouncing back in convincing fashion against the Melbourne Tigers.
George was irrepressible, shooting 8-11 from distance on his way to a game-high 38 points, to go with six rebounds and six assists.
The all-star guard had the hot hand all weekend, and was the bright spark against the Pioneers, canning 7-12 from three on his was to 25-5-6.
While Friday night was one to forget, the Bandits had plenty of positives to take from their win over the Tigers.
Still without starting shooting guard Daniel Sepokas and sixth-man Sawyer Dearborn, the rest of the roster again stepped up.
Imports Rashad Hassan and Lamar Mallory, as well as small forward Tevin Jackson, all posted impressive double-doubles in the 14-point win.
