The Vintage Drivers Club was founded by a small group of enthusiasts in 1958 and has since grown to 470 members.
The club will mark its 60th anniversary with a week-long tour of the Border and surrounds kicking off on April 29. The cars will be on show in Junction Square Wodonga (10am-1.30pm) and Albury’s QEII Square (2.30pm-4pm) on the opening day of a tour which will also see the cars visit Walla, Jindera, Holbrook, Chiltern, Tangambalanga, Mount Beauty, Beechworth and Milawa.
“This special year is a chance for others to learn about our club and for the vehicles to be seen in a variety of places so that the community can learn the history of the motor vehicle and the importance of preserving them for future generations,” club committee member Arnold Chivers said.
